Social work with immigrants and refugees; social work practice with diverse populations; research methods; evaluative research.


Research
Dr. Potocky specializes in social work with immigrants and refugees. She has authored over 50 publications, including "Best Practices for Social Work with Refugees and Immigrants" (Columbia University Press, 2002). She has been the principal investigator of two funded research projects on these populations. She is currently conducting research on human trafficking.
