Luther Brewster was awarded a one year grant from the Florida Department of Health to establish the Miami Dade Drowning Prevention Campaign
Sunny Kim was awarded a one year grant from The Columbus Medical Research Foundation titled Association of Arthritis and Depression in Older Adults
Way Way Hlaing received an FIU Foundation grant titled Weight Loss Behaviors Among Multi-Ethnic Adolescents of Florida
Quentin Felty received an FIU Foundation grant titled Estrogen Dependent Breast Cancer Vascularization via a Novel Pyk2 Signaling Complex
Jai Parkash received an FIU Foundation grant titled TNFa Induced Activation of NF-KB in Insulin Producing B-Cells and Diabetes
Deodutta Roy received a four year grant from the Department of Defense titled Identification of the Mechanisms Underlying Antiestrogen Resistance: Breast Cancer Research Partners
Berrin Serdar received an FIU Foundation grant titled"Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) exposure and its relationship to DNA damage in South Florida construction workers who are exposed to asphalt fumes" .
