Background

Before joining the FIU faculty in Fall 2006, she worked at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL and at IZA, Institute for the Study of Labor in Bonn, Germany.

 

Courses

Health Economics (graduate and undergraduate)

 

Research

General areas: labor economics, health economics, applied econometrics, and public economics.

Research interests: labor market effects of health insurance coverage, substance use and employment, social security and welfare state, and structural modeling of application for retirement and disability insurance.
