Research Interest Title
Areas of research include community-based participatory research aiming at prevention in the area of public health, health disparity, diseases, environmental justice and built environment using environmental and occupational epidemiology, medicine, exposure assessment, and GIS mapping.
 
Research Interest Description 

1)      The current research work utilizes environmental and biological monitoring to investigate the exposures in the homes and their surroundings for indoor and outdoor environmental quality (IEQ) problems. He is examining children’s environmental health hazards including lead and environmental triggers of asthma in indoor and outdoor environments; other toxic metals such as mercury; pesticides; and the built environment in Miami inner city. 

2)      Currently, he is expanding his lead poisoning among children to the study of environmental triggers of asthma among children.
